Rationalising the Vertical Circulation

Put simply there were too many ways to get upstairs, all concentrated in one area. So we decided to lighten and rationalize the vertical circulation. We removed a concrete block stair-case, nick named the "orange monster". It totally dominated the atrium, blocking lines of sight and light. The new atrium is now fresh and spacious and will soon be an important source of income.
